A Workshop On Sustainable Street Furniture

The Faculty of Architecture Art & Design of

Notre Dame University-Louaize [NDU-FAAD]

in Lebanon is organizing

a workshop on

sustainable street furniture

The workshop will take place at NDU campus near Beirut,
during 7-10 days between Nov. 16 - Dec. 4
(specific duration & dates to be announced shortly).

It overlaps with the City Street Conference (Nov. 18-20),
which will influence the workshop brief.

The event will include a 3-day/2-night trip to Bekaa Valley,
to construct small structures with local mud bricks.
Tour visits will include the city of Zahle (old part), Baalbek, a winery, and more.

Participants will include FAAD Architecture Design students,
plus students & faculty from Greek Schools of Architecture that wish to participate.

Fluent English is essential.

Accommodation will be on-campus, at 10$ (~7€) per person/per night in shared rooms (2-4 per room).
In Bekaa Valley the cost will be double that.

Return flight ATH-BEY costs ~300€,
(Olympic Air may have offers for ~80€ -check!).

No visa needed (an entry stamp is issued on arrival).
